In 2019 Studio Polat was invited by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management to document their trip to Istanbul, a city that serves as a bridge between Europe and Asia. The visit presented the group of travellers with new insights and answers to essential questions. As a travel companion, we created a short documentary about the journey, which focused on their experiences and understanding. The result, Reis zonder einde (Journey Without End), contributes to the conversation about inclusion and prejudice. Allowing for the participants and the audience profound insights and understanding of people from a different cultural background. Contributing to the conversation and the connection.
